Okay, here we go. I am in hopes of starting to further my knowledge of cars, and as such I am taking on a few cars here shortly, a Firebird, a Fiero and a Dodge Daytona. I know what you're going to say next! "Why wouldn't you buy an old Ford? Well, I want to work on a V8 and the Fiero will be a Frankenstein and hope to Ford power it sometime.
The Daytona belonged to my late brother so I hope to restore his Daytona and see if perhaps his oldest son would want it for his first car, if not I will keep it. These are a lighter fix as well, so it shouldn't take every last ounce of what I have to fix it, which is why I also chose these cars.
and time for one of the main reasons if not the main reason. I see the Chevy as throw aways, if it gets to the point where it can't be fixed without an exuberant amount of money it wouldn't hurt as much knowing it was just a GM product and not something like a Ford that has to go due to learning hands.
I will be talking with my neighbors about it here in the next little while, if I do end up getting these cars I will probably due progress vlogs on em as well so you will see it come to light on a YouTube Channel, if you care to follow I will keep you posted on it.
I am hoping after this that someone in my town who has an 89 fox body will sell it and by that point I will be proficient enough to really do some fun stuff and make a powerhouse out of it and don't you worry! I will NOT be LS swapping it! I would keep it in family for sure!
So in closing this will be a learning experience to get me up to where I would like to be with car mechanics and working on what I have dreamed of!
